Step 3 - Finishing
It's so much fun to pull your piece off the loom and see the finished product!
You may then either cut the loops or leave them, whichever you choose will determine how the finished piece looks.

| Next using a wool brush (I actually use a wire brush used for grooming pets), brush all of the edges and trim any extra long strands. The photo on the right displays the front of the finished placemat. I was able to get white centers of the intersections by using a white worsted weight yarn for the final round during step 1, weaving, see next photo. | ![]() |
