Hexagon Weaving Loom Spiral Felted Coaster

This pattern is for a felted coaster using a 6" hexagon weaving loom and 100% wool yarn. In order to complete this pattern, you must first follow the steps for 2 layers of the basic weave. The spiral pattern is created during the tying process and is done on both sides of the piece.

In order to make a felted piece, you must use 100% wool yarn. This design works best with two yarns of contrasting colors.

After completing two rounds of the basic weave pattern in the first color, begin using the second color to tye each intersection. Carefully work your way towards the center in a spiral pattern.
