Hexagon Weaving Loom Felted Coaster
This pattern is for a felted coaster using a 6" hexagon weaving loom and 100% wool yarn. In order to complete this pattern, you must first follow the steps for the basic weave

| In order to make a felted piece, you must use 100% wool yarn. Follow the directions for the basic weave. Complete 2 layers and tye each intersection. |  |
| Remove the piece from the loom. |  |

| Cut all loops. |  |
| Felting is the process of bonding fibers together. The photo to the right is the result of tossing the above project into the washing machine. I was very excited with the results, a funky new coaster! |  |
| I wanted to include this image to show how much smaller the finished piece is from the original. I used a 6" hexagon weaving loom and the coaster is about 5" across including the fringed edge. |  |
